It is the spookiest time of the year, and things are starting to get really scary. Finals are approaching, your bank account is running on fumes, the year is almost over and you can’t think of anything you’ve accomplished, you need to squash yourself into a racy halloween costume after a semester of dining hall food and 3 am pizza, and you have only a few weeks to recover your suffering GPA. Carving pumpkins has always been a great Halloween tradition, and the goal is usually to make them as scary and spooky as possible to decorate the front porch with. As college students, we have very different fears than the usual vampire pumpkin, skeleton carving, and menacing, angry-eyebrows pumpkin lit by a flickering candle in the dead of a cold, fall night. Since it’s October, I was in need of a good scare so I hit the internet to find some of the scariest Jack-O-Lanterns out there.
Time to start saving…

On every college campus you visit, the squirrels are alarmingly aggressive and not afraid of you whatsoever. I have yet to meet a campus squirrel that does not freak me out.
